In my youth commercial kitchens were a home from home working with my dad. By 16 I was working in a residential care home as a catering assistant, amazing gammon but I’ll give the tripe a miss.
I have now worked in contact catering for over 25 years, and I love that every client has different needs and requirements. Every service is tailored to the individual customers whether they are employees, residents, or pupils. Truly understanding the customers’ needs is what inspires me every day.
It is my fundamental belief that we are all obligated to protect and help restore the balance of the natural world. As the Sustainability Lead at TNS I am active in global discussions ascertaining the best way forward to minimise our industries impact on the environment. I create workable sustainable practices to achieve our environmental goals in line with the United Nations 17 SDGs.
