Chicken Gyros (Serves 10)

1kg boneless skinless chicken thigh

150g Greek Yoghurt

1 Lemon, juiced

50 ml Olive oil 

2tsp Ground Coriander 

2tsp Smoked Paprika

2tsp Ground Cumin

1tsp Cayenne Pepper

2tsp Cinnamon 

2tsp Oregano

Pinch Black Pepper

2 Garlic, Minced 

Pinch of Salt


1. Marinate the chicken in all the spices, garlic, lemon & olive oil for making sure every piece is covered, leave to infuse for 20 minutes.
2. Mix in the yoghurt making sure every piece of chicken is coated well, place in the fridge for at least 3 hours (preferably overnight)
3. BBQ, grill or place in the oven at 180c until the chicken starts to caramelize has a nice colour and is cooked through.
